THE CITY OF NORTH LAS VEGAS operates under a Council-Manager form of government, with a Mayor and four Council Members serving a four year term. The growth of North Las Vegas during the past 8 years has been tremendous, with the community offering employment opportunities, new resort properties, attractive housing, easy access to other areas of the Las Vegas valley, new schools and a variety of new community services. The new Las Vegas Beltway that will lead from North Las Vegas to Henderson, is a major factor in the city's development.
North Las Vegas is only 15 minutes from the Las Vegas "strip" and 25 minutes from McCarran Intl Airport, 5 minutes from North Las Vegas Airport - 10 minutes from downtown Las Vegas.
